Run MF Toolbox intaller as administrator, install. (I also run installer as administrator, before I didn't) 8. Activate antivirus, run Toolbox and scan (I didn't have to run it as administrator) - works from computer and printer. Patch didn't help. HP Toolbox has been replaced by HP Smart and is no longer available for download from HP. Functions such as checking ink levels, printing reports, cleaning cartridges, and aligning the printer are available in HP Smart. Mac OS: Go to HP Smart (in English) to download and install the HP Smart app on your Mac running macOS 10.12 or later.
